As we continue to be diligent and safe during the pandemic many Nantucket events have been canceled, postponed or gone virtual for 2021. Events on Nantucket are an important part of our community and we continue to support them as we stay safe without letting our guard down. We have listed events below with the current status, however, all dates are tentative and we encourage you to visit their websites to confirm information. Nantucket Book Festival

Nantucket Film Festival
June 17 - 28, 2021
The 26th annual Festival will feature a robust program of online screenings, as well as drive-in screenings and intimate garden screenings and conversations (all in-person gatherings are being planned in compliance with local and state public safety guidelines).
Independence Day Celebrations
The traditional Main Street activities on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 beginning at 10:00am and culminating with the water fight between Town of Nantucket’s Fire Department and the Boynton Lane Reserves at Noon.
Children’s Beach games (potato sack races, three-legged races, wheelbarrow races, and tug-of-war) are scheduled for 5:00pm on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021.
