The best restaurant on the island could be the gourmet food cooked in the second floor chef’s kitchen with the Wolf Stove, while gathering at the kitchen island with views of the moors. The dining area includes a massive 12 foot dining table that seats 10 people adjacent to the counter with seating for five. The second floor has 20 foot ceilings and an open living and dining area, offering spectacular sunrises and sunsets through the window-lined walls. This grand room is the main gathering place with modern furnishings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a powder room. Double glass paned doors supply access to a large upper deck with additional outdoor dining furniture and sweeping views of the nature preserve and ocean. The 2nd floor primary suite features pastoral and distant ocean views, with separate access to the upper deck which includes a dedicated shower and separate hot tub. The second floor also includes a loft with writing desk with views of the moors.   Or if you want to cook outside, you and your guests could use the gas grill on the 1st floor lower deck while your guests enjoy the pool, games on the lawn or comfortable seating nearby.   The family room adjacent the lower deck, has a custom-built wet-bar equipped with a small sink, undercounter refrigerator, Sub-Zero wine storage and all of this is conveniently located so cold drinks can served outside and one doesn’t have to climb stairs to retrieve them. If there is a televised sporting event, you can view it from the 55 inch TV also located in the family room.  Or if it is a chilly night, you can make a fire in the wood burning fireplace.  The family room has plenty of seating, including a sectional sofa-sleeper with queen pull-out bed Four bedrooms are located on the 1st floor. There are two suites with king beds and en-suite bathrooms. There is a custom bunk room that sleeps four, plus a trundle bed and an additional twin guest room that shares a large bathroom. The laundry room/ mud room has its own side entry.
